Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the BRD Generator ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is provided by Globant ("we", "us", "our") for use by authorised personnel within your organisation.

2. Service Description

The BRD Generator is a web application for creating, editing, and exporting Business Requirements Documents. The Service includes AI-assisted content generation powered by Google Vertex AI, and optional integration with third-party services such as Atlassian Confluence.

3. Access and Authentication

  • Access is restricted to users authenticated via Google Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP).
  • You must use your authorised Google Workspace account to access the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
  • Access may be revoked at any time by your organisation's administrator.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for legitimate business purposes related to creating Business Requirements Documents.
  • Not attempt to access other tenants' data or circumvent access controls.
  • Not use the AI features to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or violates applicable laws.
  • Comply with your organisation's data classification and handling policies.

5. Intellectual Property

Content you create using the Service belongs to your organisation. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and validated by qualified personnel before use.

6. AI-Generated Content

  • AI features use Google Vertex AI models to generate suggestions and content.
  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and must be reviewed before use in any official document.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
  • Your BRD content is sent to Google Vertex AI for processing but is not used to train models.

7. Data Sovereignty

All customer data is stored in Google Cloud Platform region me-central1 (Doha, Qatar). AI processing occurs in europe-west1 (Belgium) as required by model availability. No customer data is persistently stored outside the primary region.

8. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
